13TH SPRING COLORS AND FLAVORS The Pro Loco of Quinto di Treviso, organizer of the event under the patronage of the Municipality, acts as a witness passage between the UNPLI Treviso, Fiori d'Inverno and Buds of Spring exhibitions. It is traditionally held on the last Sunday of March and occupies the town square and part of the village of Quinto, bordered by the river Sile. The Colors and Flavors is the event that opens the beautiful spring season with rich artisan market and many other proposals for young and old. It's a spring festival that brings together three beautiful colors: the RED, the color of the Treviso radicchio, the pride of our city, our winter flower, then the WHITE the color of the asparagus that closes the winter and opens the doors of the spring. And finally the Verdone, a dark-green radicchio called "DA COLTELLO", by our grandparents. These are three types of special vegetables that together form the colors of the ITALIAN flag.
